About the Event
Why learn about Storm Safety? Because, if your dog is exposed to storms, for example hail, extreme wind, thunder storms and lightening, their lives could be at risk from electrocution, head trauma, eye injury, heart failure and YOU and I mean YOU, are the only one who could help keep them alive until you get to the Vet or a mobil Vet arrives.
FURSAFE, Australia's No. 1 Health & Safety Specialist in the Pet Industry for emergency first aid, is committed to bridging the gap between the moment your dog experiences a life threatening injury and the time it takes to getting to the Vet!
Aussie Pet Collective are hosting a 2 hour FURSAFE 'FurTalk' on Storm Safety for Dogs at their premises in Slacks Creek for all Dog owners, dog professionals and people just passing through Brissy in their caravans.
After 2 hours of practical training and theory, you will leave with invaluable knowledge and skills that could very well help you preserve the life of your pup whilst waiting for advanced veterinary care!
Leave time either side of the 'Talk' to have a look at all the amazing pet businesses who retail their products at Aussie Pet Collective; you may find yourself a pawfect gift for your best pup!
You and all participants will receive a 'LeashTag' with instructions on how to respond to injuries from electrocution and burns to paws; carry the tag on your key ring or attach to your leash. Over the coming months build your collection of 'LeashTag' for other first aid responses.
